With a wide reach that includes association with major retailers like Amazon, Walmart, Target, BestBuy, Meijers, Fred Meyer, and active sales in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Australia, S Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Japan, Osmo intends to make their presence felt in classrooms, libraries and living rooms across the globe, enabling parents who believe in the future of learning and empowering young minds to create meaningful learning experiences through technology.
Osmo works very closely with BYJU's in utilizing its brains, core tech, distribution, and marketing capabilities. As part of these efforts, Osmo plans to spend close to $200M in marketing across TV, OOH, retail, digital, etc., aiming to scale spending for FY2023 to create new milestones and capture the market.
Role
- Ownership of all core marketing functions for Osmo, including performance, creative, research, brand, channel, retention, social, viral, and influencer marketing.
- Directs and Empowers team to optimize media mix to maximize scale and return; test into new channels and markets to unlock subscriber growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other leaders at Osmo and sister companies across engineering, product, operations, sales, and more.
What we're looking for
- Strong track record in owning large marketing budgets of 100 MM+.
- Brand builder who has changed consumer behavior.
- Passion for understanding the target consumer and ability to use qualitative and quantitative research to form a strategy.
- Has done 0-1 marketing at some point in their career.
- Performance and numbers-oriented but with an ability to understand and lead innovative and creative experiences.
- Comprehensive program development skills, from broad-reach advertising to highly targeted, direct marketing across all relevant marketing channels and platforms.
- Creative thinker and problem solver – enjoys generating innovative ideas and solutions, devising new and exciting ways to engage audiences.
- Ability to grow, train, and scale a high-performing globally located team of 30+ to support an exciting and fast-growing brand.
- Experience in selling physical goods to consumers.
- Loves to work in a high-growth and sometimes uncertain environment while collaborating with multiple companies under an umbrella brand.
- Has built strategy for core markets globally, including those in North America, Europe, Asia, and more.
- Loves to learn and grow consistently.
- Passionate about ed tech and changing the world through learning.
- 15+ years of experience in marketing or similar function.
- Strong leadership ability to motivate, grow and scale the team.
