Sr. DevOps. Engineer

Our client, a major XR innovator needs a DevOps Engineer. You will be working on a top tier VR/Gaming product with other world-class engineers. Experience or interest in Gaming, VR, Mobile, Fitness are preferred. In this role, you will be a core member for building out the global server infrastructure.

• Develop architectural solutions for enabling rapid growth for users
• Participate in process improvement with engineer team
• Work with engineering and hardware teams
• Must be great at working independently and collab as a team, work through engineering process improvement
• Improve CI/CD processes to make quick iteration
• Help out developers and directors to understand infrastructural changes and options
• Ensure secure access for cloud-based infrastructure

MUST HAVES:

• Software Engineering, computer science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years working in an engineering environment with a proven track record of the responsibilities listed above
• 5+ years in multi account cloud infrastructure design, management and deployment
• AWS experience
• Experience with servers, services and API's
• Python, Go, JavaScript, NodeJS experience
• Must know all the building and deployment tools like Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, Drone, Elastic. Container Registry, Docker
• Linux system admin experience
• Some knowledge in backend storage (RDS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, EBS, S3,)
• Elastic Beanstalk, Jubernetes experience
• Cloud baded. networking experience like VPCs, load balancers
• IAM, Secrets Manager, AWS Shield, Certificate Manager
• Extremely organized, strong analytical mindset
• VR experience and passion is a plus
• Leadership experience managing DevOps is a p lus
• Cloudwatch and Grafana is a plus
• Kinesis, Pub/Sub and BigTable is a. plus
• CDNs like CloudFront and. Cloudfare is a plus
