This role requires the ability to work in a fast paced, manufacturing environment with constant changes, manage several projects at once, demonstrating the ability to come up with creative approaches to complex challenges. This role requires commitment to developing strong relationships internally and externally with our internal team and suppliers focused on meeting the needs of our customers while accomplishing the strategic and financial objectives of NZXT.

Planning Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis of customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to develop and execute make to order, stock to order and build to forecast plans.
  • Manage MRP parameters to ensure appropriate supply pipeline and inventory is available to meet customer demand and sudden changes in the production schedule.
  • Manage material flow in facility and through vendors who perform outside processing
  • Create Purchase Orders, review daily the open purchase order report to resolve late and partial shipments with suppliers and update the MRP system.
  • Manage and develop suppliers thru KPI target reviews for on-time delivery, PPM, invoice discrepancies and service levels with goal of continuous improvement.
  • Check and verify availability of material and available capacity internally and at vendors
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Monitor and report on raw materials, purchased, and manufactured parts and components, as required
  • Conduct production-planning meetings and communicate issues/concerns to management
  • Utilize customer forecasts to create forecasts within ERP and adequately plan demand and capacity
  • Monitor and adjust schedules based on variances to output
  • Perform duties to achieve overall business unit metrics

Purchasing Responsibilities

  • Prepares instructions and oversees purchasing systems and procedures; reviews purchase order claims and contracts
  • Prepares management reports as required (Inventory analysis/cost savings program; raw material cost track, etc.); Tracks and updates operating/expense budget
  • Procures all products to necessary dock dates to ensure on-time production starts per production schedule
  • Seek cost saving opportunities and develop methods to reduce overall costs with existing supply base. Seek improvements in lead-time and quality.
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop planning and procurement activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product

Experience

  • 6+ years experience as a planner/buyer
  • Previous experience working with Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Synnex, ASI and various distributors of computer components as well as vendors but not limited to Intel, Microsoft, AMD, Nvidia, MSI, EVGA, etc
  • Preferred 3-5 years experience in PC Gaming Industry
  • Mandarin speaking preferred
