ESXL is on a mission to become New York’s esports organization, beginning with the successful launch of NYXL, New York’s franchise in Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch League. With the league’s best record, MVP and a roster stacked with all-stars, NYXL was a gold standard in the Overwatch League's inaugural season. Now begins the evolution of NYXL into a broader, multi-team house of brands that will define New York’s esports identity. We’re looking to add an ambitious Brand Partnerships manager to join an exceptionally talented team from digital media, esports, apparel, and tech backgrounds to execute this mission. Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and generate revenue
  • Position and share the ESXL brand story in a compelling and informed way
  • Work assiduously within our sales CRM system and databases
  • Commit to a highly operationalized, data-driven and transparent sales process
  • Strategically build and nurture your sales pipeline
  • Effectively prepare for and lead new business pitches
  • Foster strong client and agency relationships by being respected, knowledgeable and relevant to your assigned industries/brands
  • Collaborate with sales marketing to develop creative solutions and partnership programs
  • Set

Requirements

  • Must have an obsessive drive to win and an unrelenting sense of urgency
  • 3+ years experience in client services, sales or sales marketing, digital-only experience preferred.
  • Possess deep curiosity, if not familiarity or expertise, for the esports industry
  • A passion and expert ability for presenting and public speaking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative problem solver who thinks on their feet and can change course fluidly in real time during new business meetings
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines, while not losing sight of big picture
  • Travel is required
