We are looking for an outstanding Solutions Architect to join our Professional Visualization team with expertise in Virtualization, Virtual GPU technologies, Quadro professional graphics as well as PC gaming. We are seeking individuals that flourish with new challenges and promote our groundbreaking technologies to the Industry. A deep understanding of System Architecture for both Servers and Workstations, Windows and Linux OSes, as well as mainstream Hypervisors (Xen, XenServer, ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V, Acropolis). Experience with orchestration frameworks like OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services (AWS) will be required for advising our customers considering a transition to, or augment their on-premises virtualization strategy.

Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English with the ability to work independently are essential. Prior experience with graphics virtualization, CAD, CAE, HPC and Deep Learning are a major plus, as is passion to pick up new technologies quickly is needed.

You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and have extensive experience with architecting complex hardware/software solutions. You should be able to support end customers (mostly via our partners), as well as train our HW/SW partners on the integration of NVIDIA Quadro and Virtual GPU products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Join the team as an authority on our graphics GPU virtualization solutions for Professional Graphics and Cloud based gaming (GeForce NOW), directly supporting Sales Account Managers, and working closely with the team to secure design wins.
  • Be knowledgeable on all NVIDIA enterprise products including Professional Visualization, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, HPC, and virtualization. You will be providing technical pre-sales support for our hardware and software products provided to the customer.
  • Being a Solution Architect does mean there is some travel involved (domestic and international), as often the most effective way to figure things out is a face-to-face meeting. But the job isn’t life on the road. We make heavy use of conferencing tools, so realistically most of the job is using WebEx, talking on the phone, or taking care of email. You are empowered to determine the best way to get the job done and do what it takes to make our partners/customers successful.
  • Establish close technical relationships with customer accounts, to facilitate rapid resolution of issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • We provide regular training so that the team is able to communicate the value and answer technical inquiries of all of NVIDIA's professional product lines with partner organizations.

What We Need To See

  • Strong written and oral communications skills in English and Japanese with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.
  • Understand the full stack. Customer workflow, Applications, frameworks, OS, server hardware, networking, storage, and datacenter needs all factor into building successful solutions. Knowing how all the parts fit together is significant in being able to work with customers of different skill levels and different areas of expertise.
  • Bachelors degree in a technical field and real-world experience at multiple levels of the solution stack plus 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience and confidence in customer facing technical roles. With channel partners or with enterprise customers, you need a willingness and aptitude for engaging in technical conversations that solve problems is needed.
  • Familiarity with crafting a solution using NVIDIA's virtual GPU solutions using leading virtualization technology from Citrix, VMware, RedHat and Microsoft.
  • Be flexible. We're talking about workstation consolidation, networking, and virtualization one minute, then switching into a design discussion about changing customer workflows; the impact of Artificial Intelligence the next, and this is the world you'll live in. Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Proven passion to plan, create and present technical topics, to go deep and be transparent with your findings.
  • Experience with C programming, parallel programming, NVIDIA technologies like CUDA, Video Encoding or Deep Learning.
  • Ability to develop relationships throughout a customer organization from C-level down to programmer/technical buyer.
  • Large-scale production deployment experience with Citrix, VMware, RedHat or Microsoft virtualization and remoting solutions.
  • Desire to reinvent yourself and find innovative ways of solving the world's hard problems.
