We are looking for a system software engineer to join our multimedia and AI team.

What you will be doing:

  • You will be developing algorithms and writing software for multimedia applications to enable groundbreaking user experiences.
  • Develop, optimize, and productize algorithms and system software stack for gaming, video streaming and other multimedia applications.
  • Get exposed to the state of the art developments in the constantly evolving space of computer vision and AI/DL, work on many groundbreaking features and applications that are redefining our industry.
  • Optimize performance and improve the quality the existing algorithms at levels never seen or heard of.
  • Work alongside world-renowned experts in multimedia technologies to productize innovations on NVIDIA products. Collaborate with multiple research and engineering teams worldwide, as well as our partners and customers.

What we need to see:

  • Masters/Ph.D. or equivalent experience in EE/Computer Science from a reputed university.
  • Domain knowledge in any or all of the following: Image/Video processing, DSP/Audio, Computer vision, AI/DL.
  • Demonstrated capability to convert abstract problem statements into innovative prototypes.
  • Experience in productizing innovations at mass scale.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end use-case and devise solutions to improve user experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Strong software development, optimization, analytical and debugging skills.
  • 8-12 years' experience in developing and debugging systems software.

  • Knack for full software stack development - from implementing APIs to understanding the impact and consequences on the hardware.
  • Developed and productized AI/DL networks for practical use-cases.
  • In-depth understanding of video concepts; e.g. video encoding, image processing, transforms, color spaces etc.
  • Experience to take features from inception to product following good software development practices.
  • Familiarity with Python, CUDA, cuDNN and other NVIDIA deep learning toolkits and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorRT.
