We seek a Senior System Software Engineer to join the team that brought hardware accelerated game-play recording/broadcasting, automatic highlights capture, and game photography/filters to millions of NVIDIA users.
Within this dynamic and innovative team, you will provide gamers with the ability to generate beautiful renditions of their gaming sessions (what we call "user generated content"), everywhere!
You will build elegant SDKs that enable game developers and publishers to integrate these exciting features in their own applications.
With GeForce NOW (Cloud gaming) and GeForce Experience, you will collaborate with the best engineers in the world shaping NVIDIA's newest visual computing and AI technology into vertical features that amaze and delight users.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing cross-platform software to support our ever-growing feature set.
- Working directly with key application developers to craft solutions that they can integrate.
- Collaborating closely with diverse and geographically distributed teams at NVIDIA such as the user experience, architecture, services.
- Rapidly prototyping, iterating and experimenting in an Agile mindset.
- Having flexibility to learn new things, try new technologies, seek opportunities to grow, mentor & be mentored.
What we need to see:
- 12+ years of software development experience.
- BS or MS in computer Science or equivalent.
- Self-starter, ability to learn and work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Problem solver with a can-do attitude.
- Track record of working within a large international team.
- Hands on experience in one of the following: system-level software, visual computing, multimedia, image/video processing, AI or deep learning, or web technologies.
- Excellent programming and debugging skills in C/C++/JS.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Direct experience delivering end-user facing solutions.
- Experience with NVIDIA features such as Highlights, In-Game Overlay, ShadowPlay.
- Experience working closely with 3rd party integrators and releasing SDK.
- Experience with Angular/CEF.
- Experience with PC, Mac, mobile.
