We are looking for a Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Customer QA Team. Team provides world-class support to our GRID Enterprise customer. Candidate will closely work with Customer team along with Engineering team for upcoming Nvidia products and features validation. The candidate must have knowledge of and experience with virtualization, Strong analytical & problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to handle on multiple projects independently.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide software technical support to Nvidia Enterprise customers.
  • Work independently and technically lead current team.
  • Focus will be to analyze and reproduce customer reported issues and drive issue to closure.
  • Work Closely with SWPM, CPM and Enterprise Customer to drive customer issues and their queries.
  • Close coordination with development team in their root cause determination and verify reported defects are fixed.
  • Additional responsibilities include testing NVIDIA products on customer specific platforms to ensure compatibility and provide timely communication to cross functional team.
  • Analyze / Monitor incoming bugs and contribute in quality improvements
  • Work on multiple customer accounts and analyzing of their issues independently.

What We Need To See

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience with 2+ years customer support or software/hardware test experience required.
  • Strong understanding of PC architecture and extensive experience building, configuring and fixing Desktop/ Server systems hardware issues.
  • Sound knowledge of Linux OS and Virtualization (Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V and KVM)
  • Knowledge of general QA procedures and methodologies, as well as software development fundamentals.
  • Experience testing or strong knowledge of graphics, audio, video, networking, display, gaming and/or storage preferred.
  • Should have good knowledge of debugging tool, memory dump analysis and remote debug.
  • Scripting\programming knowledge or experience
  • Proven leadership experience desired.
  • The Candidate should be willing to work in flexible hours.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Familiarity working with NVIDIA GPU hardware a strong plus
  • Prior experience in PC Game Testing will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience to Python and Automation
