Novarama is seeking an Art Producer to oversee art and animation production for the studio. The candidate will coordinate a 12 people team plus external outsourcing providers. Novarama is currently working on an unannounced brand-new PC/console multiplayer project for a top-5 worldwide publisher, as well as Killsquad, our own internal IP currently on Steam Early Access. We are seeking someone with an art and animation skill set, to perform team and task management, resource allocation, focused on attention to detail and quality. Requirements

  • Knowledge of art and animation production pipelines: concept art, modelling, mapping, materials, rigging, animation.
  • Must have SCRUM / Kanban experience.
  • Must fit with the company culture.
  • Plus: Unreal experience as producer.
  • Plus: experience working on transnational projects with big clients.
  • Spanish is not a requirement, but definitely a plus.

Desirable skills

  • Production planning and tracking: sprint definition, task tracking, team allocation, conflict resolution.
  • Team building: motivating a team of highly skilled individuals to excel.
  • Maintaining frequent communications with team leads and the client to refine the game vision.
  • Maintaining up to date industry and market awareness, ensuring the game remains competitive.
  • Ensure necessary communication with client production coordination & any necessary contacts outside the studio (external providers & suppliers).

Based in Barcelona, Spain, Novarama is one of the most seasoned studios in South Europe. Founded in 2003, it has spent 9 years as a Sony exclusive studio, working on games such as the Invizimals saga (6 titles across 3 platforms). Novarama is PC/console only and focuses on hardcore game development using Unreal Engine.

Since Covid, Novarama has moved to remote work, and thus we accept candidates with a desire to move to Spain as well as full-remote applicants in EU time zone and with an EU passport. The studio now is approximately 50 people and has ambitious plans to grow to +80 in the next 12 months due to exciting new projects and clients.
