Norsfell is a game developer based in Montreal, Canada. The company was founded in 2013 with one mission in mind: Forge new genres that bring people together.

We're looking for a VFX artist to join our team in working on our highly anticipated title, Tribes of Midgard!

Job Responsibilities:

Bring to life both creative and art direction visions to improve UX
Create and integrate all gameplay, characters and environmental VFX
Work closely with design, art and dev to establish the best visual feedbacks
Iterate using comments from multiple sources to reach an optimal result
Profile all particles and optimize them to maximize performance

Qualifications:

At Least 2 Years of Experience
Exceptional graphic design skills in various fields
Expertise in Unreal Engine UI and animation systems
Strong understanding of particles and shaders
Awareness of trends in VFX design/creation
Deep familiarity with industry pipelines
Passion for visual communication
At ease in English and/or French
Eligible to work in Canada

Assets:

Experience as a technical artist
Experience in both PC and consoles
Experience with Niagara VFX System
Has shipped at least one VFX-heavy game
Degree in Graphism, Animation or related fields
Able to communicate in French
