NOIZ is a group of esports and video game industry veterans. They ve worked on projects like Major League Gaming, IGN, ESL, Fnatic, SK-Gaming, and more. We ve also helped build cool stuff like websites for Marvel, several indie games, an analytics app for esports, etc.
We're building a platform to connect two mutually beneficial groups: indie game developers and content creators.
The Role:
Noiz is looking for a Business Development Manager. You will be part of a committed group of gamers and professionals who develop ideas and looking to create a unique platform in the video game industry.
As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and managing relationships with video game broadcasters and communities
- Negotiate and help build a content strategy to tell our story
- Drive initiatives with game publishers, video game streamers, and influencer management teams in authentic and positive ways
- Build relationships with decision makers across the video game industry
- Communicating our story, promotions, and partnerships across various channels
- Engage daily with game publishers, gaming influencers, and influencer management teams
Your Skills:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in marketing and engaging to digital communities
- Deep understanding of gaming communities and how to build effective relationships
- The ability to analyze competitor strategies and innovate on best practices
- Strong organizational and program management skills
- Experience working with and managing external agencies
- Ready to lead groups and ability to interact with partners
- Ability to use quantitative data and metrics to drive strategic decisions and marketing activities
- Self-motivated, passionate and high energy level
Extra Credit:
- Familiarity with Twitch, YouTube Live / Gaming, and Mixer
- Gamers in a past or current life who slayed digital dragons, knows how to move the payload, and/or can navigate through pixelated dungeons.
This is a remote position but needs to be able to come to Los Angeles, CA often (local preferred).
Open to negotiation based on experience.
