SUMMARY

Programs editorial and interactive digital content for kids and families, and works with internal staff and external teams on the release schedule of online content. Develops compelling online content, generates new ideas, collaborates with team members to execute concepts, and routes creative for feedback and approvals.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Produce the sites' content to optimize the user experience (UE) by being attentive to live web metrics and UE best practices
  • Apply search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to every piece of content
  • Analyzes customer usage statistics to evaluate the effectiveness of content strategy, and push towards continuous content improvement
  • Manage and maintain the overarching editorial and content calendars to ensure regular site updates.
  • Support Nintendo of America (NOA) campaigns and initiatives through concept development and creation
  • Collaborate with copywriters on overarching tone and expectations for editorial
  • Collaborates with other departments such as Licensing, Product Development, Communications, and Marketing on content planning
  • Reviews submitted assets, content and other assets and makes recommendations to improve site content
  • Inputs and maintains editorial and interactive content via a content management system
  • Ensures quality by testing and troubleshooting consumer website programs and content
  • Assists other departments in content creation when needed

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years in project management-intensive positions, with proven track record of flawlessly coordinating multiple projects at once, and leading cross-functional internal teams towards goals
  • 2+ years of experience in web marketing and/or online content development
  • Proven organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills a plus
  • Knowledge of PC/Mac-based image manipulation and design software, including Adobe Photoshop a plus
  • Up to date knowledge of Nintendo, video games, and the video game industry a big plus
  • Prior experience with content management systems a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
