DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Leads creative direction and project management to cross-functional teams, partners and vendors
  • Produces original content including scripts, outlines, audio/video/photography shot lists and storyboards for TV commercials, game trailers, Nintendo Direct, etc.
  • Leads Product Marketing staff in brainstorming creative content ideas in support of product launches and other marketing initiatives.
  • Works with Content Lab leads, Production Writer, and producers to cast, source, and find direction for all original content voice over work, including management of agencies and facilitation of voice recording process
  • Collaborate with internal teams and campaign committees on the production of content for official websites, in-store and online retail channels, social media platforms, and other initiatives as needed
  • Leads the production of strategic and conceptual documentation and prototypes
  • Works and manages outside agencies to ensure approved original content concepts are well-executed, align with internal expectations of concept and deliver on budget within scope
  • Produces live programming such as Nintendo Treehouse Live and competitive gaming events streamed on Nintendo channels and accounts across services like Twitch, YouTube Live and others
  • Performs special projects as needed
  • Train and mentors less experienced staff
  • Produces live action and voice-driven content for use in marketing and PR materials
  • Works with internal production teams to align on final footage and helps decide final edit of game-footage segments for all internally-produced content
  • Learn and understand internal purchasing and budgeting processes to ensure original content has budget support and visibility
  • Coordinate with global content production teams on the timing, viability, and localization of marketing assets from a global perspective.
  • Consults with internal and external clients to determine the specifications and timelines for projects
  • Works with outside vendors to source music and voice talent for use in high-end video production.
  • Produces content for native use on mobile and smart device distribution platforms
  • Communicates with Comms team about the latest trends, opportunities, and technology relating to social media for video content and delivery
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and practices and works to continuously evolve our ways of working and expand opportunities to engage players with content
  • Keeps the creative and production teams updated and inspired by sharing the latest trends in practices and technology

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Five years of experience in video, content production, or creative video development
  • Advanced experience with pitching ideas, creative concepts, and creative strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of high-quality content production, with a particular focus on conceptualization and copywriting. Also requires knowledge of shooting, audio, lighting, editing, video compositing, and producing
  • Advanced knowledge of project creative, pre-production, production, post production and distribution methods
  • Advanced knowledge of video delivery platforms for broadcast, and social media i.e. Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube etc
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
  • Five years of experience in video, content production, or creative video development
