Description Of Duties

  • Advocates, builds, and maintains a network of development support for Nintendo devices with a primary focus on the Indie development community
  • Brings proposals for partnerships to secure strategic or key content
  • Provides leadership and strategic vision in support of Nintendo’s approach to servicing the Indie development community
  • Develops compelling messaging delivered to developers, publishers, or at events on behalf of Nintendo
  • Acts as account manager and key contact for Indie developers while simultaneously supporting the infrastructure and team that supports this business
  • Requires approximately 20% travel, domestic and international
  • Supports attainment of some short- and mid-term objectives of assigned unit/team/projects
  • Contributes to defining and driving long-term strategy objectives

Summary Of Requirements

  • Five+ years of industry related experience
  • One to two years of leadership experience
  • Video Game Industry experience required
  • Game development experience or a deep understanding of game development
  • Program and Account Management experience preferred
  • Experience with downloadable games and content management
  • P&L experience a plus
  • Experience digital content management and working with digital content developers required
  • Management and leadership skills
  • Broad network of contacts within the Indie and traditional developer communities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Undergraduate degree or MBA in business, economics or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid passport required
