  • Lead the team responsible for execution of email through all phases, including strategy, planning, creative development, production, deployment, and analysis.

  • Lead the entirety of CRM email efforts, ensuring a holistic, personalized, and impactful customer journey for our user base.

  • Manage the performance of the CRM team by providing continuous and active feedback and helping team members accomplish developmental goals.

  • Manage campaign calendar of events, and participate in planning sessions to develop and optimize campaign strategies.

  • Manage relationships with cross-functional teams (analytics, IT, marketing, creative production) as well as external vendors to review priorities, plan resource allocation, effectively communicate status, and address issues.

  • Oversee, develop, and refine business, workflow, and approval processes for email CRM team.

  • Oversee creative testing (A/B, subject line), application of learnings, and delivery of reports that provide meaningful insight to stakeholders.

  • Define and evolve customer segmentation strategy, working with data teams to enhance targeting and predictive capabilities.

  • Spearhead the exploration and integration of tools/vendors/systems that lead to world-class CRM programs – whether thru creative enhancements, advanced personalization, machine learning, process efficiencies, advanced automations, etc.

  • Manage and build scalable email programs, while taking into consideration a holistic cross-channel view of how customers will hear our message.

  • Liaise closely with global counterparts to ensure global alignment, share learnings, and reduce operational redundancies.


  • Seven or more years of experience in email marketing and CRM

  • Five years of experience managing teams and driving results through others.

  • Strong experience crafting, optimizing, and delivering large scale marketing/email messaging, overseeing and executing copy and creative, and building personalized customer journeys.

  • A strong background in developing testing strategies in digital marketing, and applying learnings to optimize ongoing/future programs.

  • Experience working with campaign management / marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Market, etc.

  • Strong vendor relationship experience and experience negotiating contracts

  • Experience planning and adhering to long-term project roadmaps

  • Experience managing teams, marketing programs, and workflow processes

  • Strong understanding of CRM marketing and communication fundamentals, segmentation, customer behavior, campaign analysis and messaging

  • Experience working with relational databases with complex data structures, database schemas, and SQL

  • Thorough understanding of COPPA, ESRB and CAN-SPAM regulations

  • Ability to interact effectively in a complex organization. Must be able to establish excellent working relationships and communication with individuals and teams at various levels. Willingness to work both individually and as part of the team

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly in oral and written communication

  • Demonstrate a passion for the Nintendo brand, customer and product. Fan of Nintendo games a plus

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, sciences, economics, math, or business preferred.
