DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Drive vision, define, and execute on plan to realize vision.
Oversee and build data pipelines, data ingestion processes, and development/maintenance of ETL processes and jobs.
Effectively communicate roadmap, project status, and resourcing status to non-technical leadership teams.
Build and oversee solutions: segmentation and targeting capabilities for personalization, marketing, reporting and analysis solutions.
Manage development of new features and capabilities, and delivery of dashboards and data visualizations.
Write and tune SQL, Hive, Presto queries, and support data mining.
Investigate new data sources, and assess technology, operations, process and business impact of incorporating data sources into infrastructure.
Define process needed for operations, including project management and performance.
Manages and mentor team of developers and engineers.
uild relationships with analyst teams and business marketing teams to understand data related needs.
Define and manage SLAs for datasets and processes running in production.
Drive teams to successfully execute projects.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
8 plus years of experience in analytics field
6 plus years of hands-on experience in BI, data warehouses, and designing/operating large data platforms
4 plus years of experience with Java, Python or similar programming language
4 plus years leading data warehousing and analytics projects, including using AWS or Google technologies; Redshift, Big Query, S3, GCS, EC2, and other big data technologies
3 plus years of experience managing teams of analysts or engineers/developers.
Experience in data management disciplines through data analysis, data stewardship, data warehousing, data architect and/or data modeling.
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau.
Experience with segmentation, cohort, regression analysis, consumer lifetime value modeling and other advanced analysis is a plus
Communication and leadership skills, ability to initiate and drive projects proactively.
Expert in SQL and experience with big data technologies such as Hive and Presto.
Experience with agile software development cycle
Familiarity with Machine Learning tools and technologies.
Preferred experiences in consumer web or mobile, online advertising, e-commerce industry
Preferred passion for video game category or other related fields (such as entertainment, e-commerce, etc.).
BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
