DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Coordinates and assists in the development of merchandising activities for Nintendo Stores, with a focus on the My Nintendo Store online.
  • Utilizes ecommerce merchandising experience to meet department goals based on broader company strategy.
  • Execute merchandising strategies for the My Nintendo Store online based on business priorities & guidance from leadership.
  • Operate as a liaison between multiple departments to ensure company priorities are being met within the online store.
  • Responsible for managing/optimizing site content and site merchandising including product listings, curated assortments, promotional banners, features, and landing pages
  • Utilize data & work with planner to find opportunities for development of product assortments.
  • Own department merchandise planning documents including production calendars to ensure they are current, and tasks are on-track.
  • Lead front-end merchandising standards and works with catalog coordinator to maintain those standards via the store content management system.
  • Manages promotional content creation process requesting and overseeing contributions from copywriters, designers, and developers, and routes content for review & final approval.
  • Produces & analyzes site metrics to measure customer behavior and effectiveness of content.
  • Work with planner & analyst to make data driven decisions. Utilizes this data to make merchandising decisions on specific pages, as well as define customer experience for the online store.
  • Performs QA as needed for areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinates with planner and data analyst to report and provide insight on business performance and results.
  • Supports content among multiple regions within the US and Canada, with unique considerations for each region.
  • Provides general asset and copy coordination, support, and organization

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-4 years of related ecommerce merchandising experience within a large organization.
  • Ability to coordinate, develop and execute merchandise programs designed to build awareness and elevate the Nintendo brand.
  • Ability to forecast and analyze market information and data
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel, word, & PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with content and catalog management systems, bug tracking tools
  • Preferred experience in one or more of: Magento, Cloudinary, Oracle applications, Contentful, Adobe Analytics/Experience Manager.
  • Knowledge of gaming industry and Nintendo products preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Merchandising, a related field; or equivalent work experience.
