Description Of Duties

  • Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the Adobe CQ/AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGi, JCR).
  • Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and web development team to implement reusable components & templates that meet standards and business needs.
  • Evaluates business requirements to determine most appropriate technical architecture and design patterns
  • Partner with and enforce standards for development vendors.
  • Create and maintain web application architectural documentation and standards.
  • Provides suggestions to improve quality and comply with architectural, design and coding standards and best practices.
  • Facilitates knowledge transfer to development team members.
  • Provides technical support and troubleshoots applications issues and bugs.

Summary Or Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience developing applications, templates, and components for the Adobe AEM/CQ product (WCM, DAM, CQSE, CRX).
  • Minimum three years of experience using AEM architecture – Sling, OSGi, Oak, Sightly.
  • Minimum three years of experience using Java.
  • Minimum three years of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working experience of Maven as dependency management tool.
  • 3+ years of large scale distributed web application development in a team environment.
  • Experience in RESTful web services.
  • Experience with the development methodologies (Agile SCRUM) and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
  • Experience with GIT, SVN, Mercurial or other Source Code Management tools.
  • Working experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Training and assisting users on the Adobe CQ and Custom Components UI.
  • Experience writing unit-tests for server and client side code is a plus.
  • Experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) in AEM is a plus.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field with equivalent relevant experience.
