DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Process customer cash, adjustments, charge backs and credit memos within accounts receivable system
- Process credit card payments
- Coordinate with credit staff and other departments regarding A/R issues and payment application, charge backs and write-offs
- Process consumer refunds, tax adjustments and write-offs
- Complete weekly and monthly cash reconciliations
- Research and process freight claims for validity
- Create and upload proof of delivery documents on customer portals
- Assist members of the credit team in their research of discrepancies and reconciliations
- Assist in providing support documentation to internal & external auditors
- Provide support to Credit & Receivables leadership team
- Work on special projects as needed
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Basic accounting skills with a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail, including general bookkeeping and reconciliation procedures
- PC skills, including Excel, Access, and Word
- Previous experience with Oracle EBS is preferred
- AA degree or vocational training in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
