Your Role: Design and build gameplay mechanics for the game and gameplay systems for studio allow for fast iteration, scale and automation. You will build gameplay mechanics for the game that are fun to play and that help supercharge other designers in the studio.
Your Skill: This is a technically-focused design role requiring you to create innovative gameplay systems with your mastery of Unreal Engine blueprints, excellent scripting and ideally code. You will work closely with art, animators and other disciplines to prove out and polish your systems to the highest standard and expand these into robust usable workflows for the studio as a whole.
Your Experience: You have several acclaimed high-end character-action games under your belt as Senior/Lead/Principle Technical Designer or Mechanics Designer. You are demonstrably an expert in Unreal Engine (or similar), have excellent scripting skills and good experience in other relevant packages such as Maya or Houdini. From another angle you may have excellent gameplay code skills and demonstrated strong design sensibilities in your commercial or personal work.
