Nigma Galaxy was founded in 2021 and is the esports team division of the world’s fastest growing gaming and lifestyle organization from the MENA region with a global reach, Galaxy Racer. Nigma Galaxy is the merger between Team Nigma and Galaxy Racer, originally founded in 2019 as Team Nigma. The division features an impressive roster of eleven esports teams across Nine different games including Dota 2, League of Legends, CS:GO, Wild Rift, VALORANT, PUBG Mobile, BGMI, Free Fire and Naraka: Bladepoint.
Nigma Galaxy is a standalone entity that is helping build esports infrastructure and supporting local talent in the region. Taking inspiration from Galaxy Racer’s values of diversity and equal representation in esports, with over 60 male and female esports athletes from over 20 countries, Nigma Galaxy is continuing its parent brand’s support for young and emerging talent.
Introduction:
We are looking for a Head of Marketing with extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. This person will design and implement effective marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals. The ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Work closely with our partners, creative and content teams to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy
- Manage and develop the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities and managing consistent growth
- Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team
- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the Executive team
- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Several years of experience in creative fields
- Experience in building brands, sports, and/or entertainment marketing
- Experience in product launch campaigns and activations
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver ideas accurately to multiple teams/audiences
- Familiarity with esports and gaming, specifically those Nigma Galaxy is involved in (Dota 2, PUBG Mobile, League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO, Free Fire, BGMI, and Wild Rift) is a huge plus
Please note the role will be based in Nigma Galaxy’s HQ in Abu Dhabi but remote and flexible working is also supported. Nigma Galaxy also offers a competitive relocation package.
