Next Level Gaming is designed as a premier entertainment channel and outlet for Esports athletes, avid gamers, novice players “nubes” and parents wanting to provide their children with a first class gaming experience. Each location has been thoughtfully planned to provide the ultimate gaming environment. In addition, our Top coaches, tournaments and leagues bring together the best amateurs and pro’s across multiple titles including Fortnite, FIFA, League of Legends, Overwatch, Madden, Minecraft, NBA 2K and all the biggest names in esports.

NLG´s goal is to fill a void and mirror traditional youth sports as a feeder to High School and College programs by providing healthy gaming habits, life and soft skills and the core principles necessary to support and spur success. Recreational, travel and academy teams are our bread and butter and the foundation of a sustainable ecosystem.

NLG was developed to provide both a supervised physical environment and a safe online “cyber” experience. Our Esports curriculum emphasizes teamwork, leadership, communication and sportsmanship. And, to take the Esports experience to the Next Level, we promote and teach 20/20/20, healthy diet, physical activity, emotional intelligence, cognitive wellness, rest and recovery tips, and a head start on college and career opportunities.

We are seeking highly motivated, passionate video gaming professionals with excellent interpersonal skills to manage our new locations. Successful candidates will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients as well as supporting business initiatives that will continue driving NLG forward as the leader in the business segment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee recreation and competitive programs that include youth Esports summer camps, leagues & tournaments.
  • Player recruitment for NLG teams including Fortnite, FIFA, Rocket League, Madden, NBA 2K, LoL, Overwatch and more.
  • Assist with all camper/gamer account authentication, sign-in/sign-off and security features.
  • Administer daily curriculum and assist with completion of online video courses.
  • Coaching and mentoring gamers across multiple titles.
  • Tournament organization of weekly, monthly and annual NLG tournaments.
  • Manage media studio schedule with streaming, content creation and podcast programming.
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service before, during and after client onboarding.
  • Build relationships with key partners, publishers, sponsors, educators and suppliers.
  • Promote and encourage business through relationship building with current and potential clients.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong understanding of gaming consoles, PC’s and peripherals.
  • Experience with streaming and content creation – equipment, storytelling, taping, editing and distribution.
  • Instantiable appetite for esports and gaming and sharing that passion with the NLG community.
  • Excellent customer service and client relationship skills.
  • Problem solving skills and adaptability in a technological environment that requires patience and a proactive approach to preventing, identifying and resolving common gaming challenges.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Relatability to all ages of children and maturity to educate and explain gaming principles to adults.
  • Basic accounting and record keeping skills.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, TeamSnap, Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and other Social Media and App based tools.
  • Prior event, and/ or tournament planning, organization, and budgeting experience
  • Outstanding self-motivation, work ethic, written/ verbal communication skills
