QA Tester (Temp)
The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for testing all features, functionality, and localization for MapleStory. This includes performing ad hoc test cases, documenting any game errors, analyzing and reviewing discrepancies in both game and website posts, and verifying fixes are implemented.
What You Can Expect To Do In Your New Gig
- Perform focused creative testing based on assigned test cases to discover gameplay-related issues and identify game defects.
- Report game defects, including complete steps, identification of root cause, and expected results into appropriate bug tracking software.
- Regress previously identified issues in order to verify defects have been addressed and are no longer occurring.
- Fact check posts on events, patch notes, and sales as they are published on our website.
Skills & Requirements
Your qualifications include:
- 1+ year of game testing experience preferred
- PC Online game testing experience preferred
- Understanding of testing procedures and methods
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and processes
