New World Interactive is the newest game developer in Calgary, poised to grow into Canada's newest video gaming hub. We're building our team and seeking a Production Coordinator to bolster our production team.

What a Production Coordinator will do:

  • Facilitate daily standups and check-ins on all teams
  • Monitor and control weekly development progress
  • Maintain Jira and Confluence issues
  • Ensure proper adherence to process
  • Facilitate communication between disciplines
  • Work effectively and competently with people at all levels in the organization
  • Work closely with the team to ensure it focuses on the right priorities throughout the production
  • Collaborate with leads and stakeholders to ensure tasks are correctly scoped, prioritized and that the schedule is updated
  • Keep stakeholders informed of delivery progress, potential risks, and roadblocks
  • Help to prepare documents, plans, and progress reports
  • Help keep the project team focused and motivated
  • Work with the production team and design team to translate game designs and art concepts into game content
  • Work with 3rd parties on localization and outsource management

If you're interested, you'll need these skills or experiences:

  • Strong organization skills
  • Passion for making games
  • Curious and fast learner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies
  • Collaborative and able to foster relationships

Additional skills or experiences that will move you up in the stack-ranking for consideration are:

  • Project Management experience
  • Professional certification in Scrum or Project Management
  • Experience with either software development or art
  • Experience working with Perforce source control
