Network N is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their rapidly expanding games media business based in Bath.

There are hundreds of opportunities for partnerships and revenue across the games, esports and hardware market. This role is all about tracking them down, figuring out a plan, establishing the terms a deal and working to follow up and ensure the business can deliver.

This role will offer a fantastic opportunity to join a great team with great culture, reporting directly to the CEO.

Outcomes will impact multiple areas within the business – including agency services, advertising, content partnership, marketing and corporate development.

You’ll already be working in the games industry and have knowledge of games marketing and as a bonus, the esports market. You will have a good feel for content that works.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in the games market
  • Hands on experience creating editorial content, liaising with the industry and setting up deals
  • Excellent communication skills – possible account management background
  • Effective time management skills – ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize to meet necessary deadlines – the work will always feel ‘chaotic’ and never feel ‘finished’
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Working with the CEO to identify opportunities
  • Creating and polishing proposals
  • Online and face to face meetings – there will be travel involved
  • Work with partners on activation and own the successful delivery
  • Ability to respond to client feedback
  • Bring extraordinary attention to detail, confident ownership of tasks, proactive problem solving, and rigorous commitment to success to both internal- and external-facing functions
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure the right follow through – with teams in Ad Sales, Agency, Network or owned sites.
