Position: Senior QA Manager

Report to: Senior Director, Software QA

Location: Netgear Taiwan Engineering Center, Neihu, Taipei, Taiwan

Summary Description:

As a manager of the CHP QA team, you will be responsible for product verification testing for home products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead team to perform QA testing for wifi extender/wifi adapter products and Canvas products.
  • Lead team to handle the security PSV issues from the IT/support team.
  • Test environment design and build-up, based on the product features.
  • Design test strategy and methodology in functionality, performance, and endurance.
  • Provide product quality report, quality analysis for product release, and further improvement plan.

Skills and Requirement:

  • 7+ years or above coding experience for wifi router/gateway network product.
  • 3+ years or above experience to lead a team.
  • Experience to capture the wire/wifi packets and ability to do further analysis
  • Experiences in cable CMTS, LTE functionality are a plus.
  • Familiar with Windows, MAC, Linux, and mobile device OS & testing environment is essential.
  • Experience in wireless and network protocol
  • Fast learner and good troubleshooting skills
  • Good knowledge & experience for network product security vulnerability & design.
  • Familiar with JIRA bug system and know bug tracking flow
  • Ability to track, analyze, and resolve issues.
  • Ability and willingness to take ownership of the product and get the job done with minimal supervision.
  • Great English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter who also works well in a team environment.
