Job Description

NetEase Games Montreal is the brand new division of NetEase Games ; a leading game developer and publisher focusing on delivering top quality mobile and online gaming experiences. We're currently seeking Senior Concept Artist for our next AAA project to create original and imaginative concept art for characters.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Art Director and Game Designer to take creative direction as well as reinforce the execution of the game's visual design.
• Collaborate with other artists to create the character design of the game.
• Contribute innovative and original ideas toward all aspects of the game's production and development.
• Strong work ethic, self-direction and artistic vision, dedicated work ethic.
• Accept and provide direction with team members and participate and engage with the entire production team to stay current on the scope and understanding of the project.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Knowledge of art history and contemporary culture.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Concept Artist.
• Minimum of 1 published title.
• Expert of 2D applications.
• Experienced in working with game engines.
• Excellent knowledge of human anatomy and proportions is a plus.
