NEST continues to grow each tournament we hold and is needing to expand on its executive ranks. The Community Manager is part of the essential contact team between NEST and Esports community. Dealing with the various online communities on mediums like discord and Reddit, the Community Director will also contact and establish relations with game developers and their communities. Providing players not only a point of contact but a voice to NEST to allow us to provide the players with the content they want. The Community Manager will fall under the purview of the Public Relations Director

Responsibilities

• Establish relationship outposts to outside communities on discord and reddit
• Amplify PR messages and be the listening post to see how messages are received
• Assist the Public Relations Director in new initiatives and projects
• Be a moderator and admin of the NEST community
• Create new teams to help assist with community management
• Partake in the administration of tournaments and events
• Plant the seeds and help mature new gaming communities
• Assist in finding new talent

Requirements

• Interest in esports management/community moderation/events
• Ability to work independently and with little direction at times
• Flexible availability
• Experience with discord and forum posting
• Experience using social media effectively
• Experience managing communities
