Nerd Street Gamers provides an opportunity for gamers to gain experience in competitive esports events, and they also are home to a community of like-minded amateur gamers. Our product offering includes facilities, event management, and broadcast production with an underlying software framework that ties it all together. In short, we’re helping to build the infrastructure of esports. And we’re looking for talented, high-energy team members who can collaborate in a professional-minded, high-paced environment.

Localhost provides an opportunity for gamers to gain experience in competitive esports competitions, and they also are home to a community of like-minded amateur competitors.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain the daily cleanliness and organization of the store
  • Restocking and auditing of Localhost inventory on a consistent basis
  • Act as the front-line representatives of Localhost, greeting customers when they arrive and providing an exemplary level of customer service at all times
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain proper transactional procedures
  • Answer phones and handle general inquiries at Localhost
  • Provide technical support knowledge when needed
  • Opening and closing of Localhost as needed
  • Create partnerships with neighbors/hosts
  • Community Outreach (digital and in person)
  • Collect data for private events and communicate to leadership
  • Assist and/or run weekly and monthly tournaments
  • Assist and/or run youth and other esports programing
  • Assist in private events as a “party concierge”
  • Communicate with leadership on a daily basis, while clocked in

Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Retail and/or administrative experience a plus
  • Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of video games/esports
