WHO WE ARE

Nerd Street Gamers provides an opportunity for gamers to gain experience in competitive esports competitions, and they also are home to a community of like-minded amateur competitors. NSG is in need of an Agile Project Manager who plays as it's products team key facilitator. The goal is to empower the team and clearly define the potential roadblocks, paving the way for project success.

EXPECTATIONS

• Help developers deliver in a fast-paced environment where there is not a lot of process and documentation to guide you
• Work with team members in different timezones
• Retrieve the needs from product/support/design/growth/engineering and break down the work into user stories and tasks that are clear for the engineering team to deliver
• Validate the specs and fulfill the missing parts, sometimes writing the specs yourself
• Organize backlogs, milestones, epics, and iterations
• Host the iteration ceremonies (the less, the better)
• Communicate and create visibility for the entire company on what the team is shipping

REQUIRMENTS

• Experience working with product and software teams and un understand tech as a while
• Familiar with the latest web technologies
• Previous coding experience
• Comfortable with ambiguity.
• Proven demonstration of best practices with agile methodologies
