Game Programmers / Developers

Nequinox Studios are looking for passionate Game Programmers to work on an unannounced AAA title alongside some of the games industry's most established names.

Our new Game Programmers will join a fast-growing, dynamic games studio to work on cutting edge technology and exciting new games for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series X, Switch and PC. You will take ownership and responsibility for developing features, work with the wider team on planning and delivery and share a passion for games. Although we pride ourselves on our technical excellence, we are a creative bunch, actively generating ideas and bringing our collective skills, experiences and storytelling to our innovative creative process.

As a Game Programmer, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related Technical Degree or equivalent, have significant experience making video games and be confident with the following:

  • C, C++, C#
  • Design and Implementation
  • Bug tracking, code reviews and documentation of work
  • Estimate, break down and plan tasks whilst managing their own time and workload
  • Testing, debugging and refining features and systems
  • Creative problem solver
  • Avid game player, able to critically analyse gameplay mechanics and suggest improvements
  • Able to contribute and feedback to the game design while building systems to facilitate efficient implementation of game mechanics

  • Awareness of online gameplay implications
  • Console experience
  • Unreal Engine experience

Salary - Negotiable, dependent on experience.

Full remote working is available during COVID, with a blend of working from home and in-studio expected post-COVID.
