As a Senior Human Resources Business partner, you will be responsible for both strategic and administrative responsibilities, up to an including the following: Assist in the planning and administration of important functions such as on-boarding/offboarding, employee relations, benefits, LOAs, performance management, learning and development, coaching and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This role will also help implement integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Organize and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience
- Assist with the communication and rollout of HR programs and policies.
- Provide counsel and guidance to front line management on employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Provide HR guidance in the areas of performance management, staffing, compensation, employee engagement, organizational design, talent management, and organizational change in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Coach managers in handling conversations regarding career growth, performance management, compensation, and equity.
- Respond to human resources-related inquiries and liaise between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
- Internal communications and paperwork regarding transfers, promotions, terminations and all other personnel changes, or company policies
- Manage employee termination process by conducting exit interviews and coordinating with IT and Payroll departments in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws in all employee related practices including FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, EEO, ADA, and related compliance areas.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a business-related field
- 5+ years in an HR related position (i.e. - HR Manager, Analytics, Operations, etc.)
- Ability to provide HR consultation to managers and employees on issues including employee relations, compensation, HR policies, and performance management
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
