This role will act as a consultant and subject matter expert to develop and integrate DEI initiatives across the organization. Working with internal partners, they will evolve and communicate actionable insights and direction to departments, studios, and the overall company. Drives the strategy, planning, development, implementation and administration of the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives to recruit, hire and retain a diverse workforce and to foster a fair and inclusive work environment. Works with senior leaders to communicate support of initiatives to develop a diverse talent pool and integrate diversity and inclusion into programs for hiring, retention, rewards, training and development, promotions, and engagement. Works with organization leadership to establish DEI goals and identifies, manages and tracks key metrics to measure program effectiveness. Collaborates with internal partners to ensure a common message and accountability; initiates community outreach, mentoring and training programs to establish a diverse and inclusive culture. Responsible for equal opportunity compliance programs; contributes to the visibility of the company’s diversity program through both employee communications and company branding.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the overall growth and integration of DEI at NCSOFT; partner with Sr. VP Human Resources to assess where NCSOFT is today, build and launch enterprise-wide DEI strategies to accelerate progress.
  • Build and program manage DEI initiatives, tracking outcomes, and sharing results to influence companywide mechanisms and cultivate an inclusive workplace.
  • In collaboration with HR Operations and HR Business Partners, create and rollout policies across our processes to protect marginalized groups.
  • Develop and nurture healthy company culture that enhance the employee experience.
  • Drive program objectives through defined project plans; manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
  • Communicate new/updated programs, policies, and processes to leaders, employees, and cross functional teams.
  • Engage in the identification of diversity best practices and benchmarks as input to designing and implementing initiatives.
  • Act as a DEI subject matter expert by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge, and taking a balanced consultative and systemic approach to enable the organization to capitalize on DEI through strategic and tactical/operational execution.
  • Provide expert and strategic diversity and inclusion direction, coaching, and counsel to Talent Management, HR Operations and HRBP’s on HR programs, people strategies, policies and procedures, conflict resolution, change management, and organizational development to promote an inclusive culture and fair and equitable work environment.
  • Serve as liaison to DEI Special Interest Group(s) to support their work.
  • Coordinate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts
  • Build strong relationships across the company to develop a deep understanding of the business and increase awareness and understanding of DEI as a business imperative and drive relevant strategies and initiatives.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to strengthen NCSOFT’s employer brand. Advise on best diversity recruiting sources. Identify and build relationships with schools of interest to increase diversity in candidate pool.
  • Help develop, improve, and maintain processes and systems to hold leaders accountable for their support, implementation, and eventual ownership of DEI in their departments.
  • Recognize and respond to regional needs by providing tailored strategies and solutions to enable appropriate cultural awareness and change.
  • Provide cultural change in support of NCSOFT’s ability to deepen its relationship with key diverse segments across employees, customers, and communities.
  • Help build, maintain, and protect NCSOFT’s brand equity and reputation in the marketplace.
  • Recommend solution to automate collection of employee feedback relating to DEI issues.

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong HR background with 8+ years of corporate DEI experience with a record of initiating and furthering business strategies and best practices
  • Experience in compensation and pay equity and diversity recruiting
  • Knowledgeable of current trends, processes and metrics to gauge the effectiveness of DEI programs
  • Excellent project/program management skills, successful execution of DEI initiatives from start to finish, ability to scale programs
  • Experience designing and delivering DEI learning and development content and experiences
  • Strong collaborator and influencer; ability to reach beyond immediate scope to influence and lead change initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates superb cross-cultural skills with proven ability to successfully build trust, listen, and negotiate across multiple cultures, markets, and community/business employees and leaders.
  • Highly effective communicator and strategic thinker with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex ideas, unique concepts, and proposals to enroll team, peers, and management
  • Comfort and experience in collaborating with and influencing, without direct authority, both staff and senior leadership teams; galvanizes others into action around building more diverse and inclusive environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • Makes effective organization and people decisions in a manner consistent with NCSOFT’s values and ethics. Proactive in providing solutions, resolving issues and overcoming hurdles to results.
