We are looking for a Director of HR Operations to lead all aspects of NCSOFT’s HR operations, with a focus on providing a best-in-class shared operational service throughout the company. In this role, you will lead, facilitate, and optimize the delivery of consistently excellent HR services in the areas of HR systems, on-boarding, processes, required training, performance management, benefits, compensation, risk management and compliance while streamlining processes and digital systems for employees. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage and mentor HR Operations team to deliver excellence to their stakeholders; both internal and external.
  • Own, manage, and enhance HR systems, particularly HRIS and related systems for managing onboarding, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • Develop, manage, and execute compensation, benefits, and total rewards in close partnership with executives and HR Business Partner team.
  • Own all compensation processes and system and implementation around compensation, including regular updates against market comparable and new best practices
  • Partner with Legal on workforce-related compliance and policy matters
  • Strategize with the HR Business Partners Team on policy and HR practices and ensure HR transactional needs are met for the team
  • Maximize HRIS and other HR platforms to improve business insights and enable data-driven decision making.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations of the business, including time off, contracts, systems, process, and compliance.
  • Working in collaboration with the HR Business Partner Team, design, recommend and implement HR operations processes, and policies so they can effectively scale with the company.
  • Drive and participate in the design of ADP solutions that meet business requirements and leverage investment in ADP and other HR systems.
  • Lead HR team software relationships, negotiating existing contracts, sourcing new vendors, and implementing new software as appropriate.
  • Strategize with benefit broker on annual renewal; negotiating rates and ensuring market competitive benefit programs for our employees.
  • Monitor new laws or regulations related to HR compliance and drive continuous process and program improvement.
  • Support Finance with annual audit requirements providing accurate records.
  • Lead annual 401(k) audit supporting timely remittance of audit documents.
  • With the help of benefit broker and providers, adhere to timing for annual 5500 and other filings necessary to assure compliance.
  • Manage employee data tracking and changes (via ADP Workforce Now and other systems) to ensure record keeping and reporting requirements are accurate and timely
  • Captures and conducts data analysis of HR and employee data, business trends, and results.

  • Partner with HQ HR in Korea on the design and implementation of global HR programs and processes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 10+ years of experience in HR Operations with a demonstrated track record of driving improvements for the HR operations function and teammates
  • 5+ years of leadership experience as a senior HR leader managing and developing a team with and a track record of being a great mentor and hiring great people
  • Bachelor's degree; Masters in HR or MBA is a bonus
  • Strong understanding of ADP Workforce now and HR processes, with the ability to demonstrate, explain, and design ADP Workforce solutions to meet HR business requirements.
  • Experience launching and managing HR systems (payroll, benefits, analytics, etc.)
  • Demonstrable track record leading, and delivering high quality HR services across all disciplines to all levels of employees
  • Desire and ability to partner and collaborate closely with the larger HR team (HR Business Partners, Recruiting)
  • Superior interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, and juggle several projects with a flexible and positive outlook

  • Human resources experience in an entertainment, gaming or technology company
  • SPHR certification
  • Experience with ADP
