NCSOFT is seeking a Contract Associate Localization Project Manager to manage localization projects for Lineage 2. As Associate Localization Project Manager, you will be working with the Localization Project Manager and Localization Manager to ensure the execution of the core localization process and that agreed deadlines are met. You will also maintain the relationship with stakeholders on the development side and external partners. In this role, you will also be responsible for coordinating all aspects of Localization (L10N) and Internationalization (i18N) from initial development to live.
WHAT YOU'LL DO includes at least the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Engage with both internal and external developers globally to implement companywide L10N processes.
- Translate in-game content from Korean to English when needed.
- Manage glossaries on all projects being published.
- Work closely with developers to support I18N.
- Manage and monitor the Localization budget.
- Control the integrity of localized software components using industry-standard tools.
- Establish and maintain a relationship with developers and partners.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- 2+ years of Localization experience or process management.
- 1+ year of Korean to English or English to Korean translation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, HTML and XML formats.
- In-depth understanding of gaming and localization industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Organized and able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
- A passion for PC/mobile gaming.
- Fully bilingual in English and Korean.
- Critical eye for error and editing abilities

- Fluent in any other language.
- Gaming translation experience.
- CAT tool experience (MemoQ)
This is a 3-6 month contract position.
