A key member of the NBA 2K League's business team, the Senior Marketing Analyst will support the implementation of the NBA 2K League's long term strategic marketing plan. This role will work directly with league resources to increase data collection, fan acquisition, viewership conversion, and brand affinity. Additionally, this individual will lead direct marketing efforts that will support partner initiatives, drive ticket sales and increase viewership.

Major Responsibility:

  • Drive progressive growth in key marketing areas: brand development, effective advertising, data driven marketing, and fan development
  • Collaborate with internal groups to develop key marketing initiatives and season long marketing plans
  • Craft strategy to leverage direct marketing channels to drive ticket sales for regular season events as well as road tournaments
  • Assist in fan development efforts including enhancing the in-studio fan experience
  • Identify data capture opportunities to grow our database
  • Participate in brand and media agency review and selection process
  • Support the effort to devise a comprehensive, ongoing research and data story for the brand and our partnerships
  • Manage media spend, lead A/B testing initiatives, share back reporting and make executive recommendations
  • Develop data-supported insights into advertising strategy, including the effectiveness of advertising spend, and optimal media mix
  • Assist with digital reporting needs and deeper analysis including top performing content, viewer retention and channel development
  • Assist teams in customizing and localizing League driven marketing

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Minimum 5+ years of business experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, or data analyst roles
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • A successful track record of developing and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external clients
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience in creating marketing campaigns, measuring execution and delivering and improving on results.
  • Hands on experience managing ad spend or media buying as well as ad spend analysis
  • Desire to continually learn new skills and collaborate with colleagues to achieve ambitious team goals Interest in understanding the business impacts of a rapidly changing digital ecosystem
  • Creative, adaptive personality that can interface with senior-level executives across various organizations
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, dynamic and challenging environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills, attention to details, and accuracy a plus
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of the eSports/gaming landscape a plus Agency, sports/entertainment or marketing experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in marketing, business, or related field
