As a part of the Naughty Dog legacy, you’ll be continuing the development of extraordinary and enduring experiences for a broad, global range of audiences.

We are searching for a temporary (contract), on-site associate to mid-level Localization Coordinator to join our expanding localization team! The ideal candidate aids the Sr. Localization Manager in tracking and planning of all localized assets and files into over 20 languages that will impact audiences worldwide. In this role, you will focus primarily on working with external teams and various internal departments to ensure localization’s needs are kept in mind throughout development. As a member of the Audio Department, you will report to the Sr. Localization Manager, Dialogue Lead, & Audio Director.


  • Assist with transcribing scripts “as read” for subtitles of all game dialogue

  • Work closely with various external teams in Europe & Asia to communicate the needs of internal teams and keep them appraised of when to expect deliveries or changes

  • Identify areas of the localization and dialogue pipeline that could use streamlining or improvement

  • Tracking of localization bugs and tasks via Jira

  • Answering of queries provided by external Europe & Asia teams to increase translation quality

  • Review deliveries of localized files to ensure quality bar

  • Advocate for the studio’s localization production needs with external vendors

Requirements & Skills:

  • 1-3 years Localization Experience in any medium. (Games, Apps, Film & Television)

  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Self-starter with exceptional verbal, written, organizational and communication skills

  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects at various stages of development

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Be personable, and collaborative

  • Receptive to team feedback

Bonus Skills:

  • Shipped 1 AAA game title

  • Live Service Experience a plus

  • Understanding of audio localization production

  • Coding, programming

  • Bilingual or any additional languages fluently spoken and/or written

  • Previous project management experience

  • Previous localization or QA testing experience

  • Previous Jira and Confluence experience
