We are currently looking for a talented Technical Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team here at Mythical Games! This position requires the grit and tenacity that comes with supporting a high growth start-up. In this highly collaborative role, you will engage with passive candidates for critical roles that spread across all technical disciplines and will focus on networking closely within the industry to identify and attract top talent. You should expect to work across a breadth of technical fields including game development and platform engineering, infrastructure, data science, and technical product management. You will leverage your experience and technical knowledge to develop and execute successful and creative strategies to source, engage, and evaluate high-potential candidates...all while handling each candidate with care and driving a positive candidate experience end to end. This is a versatile role with responsibilities that include but are not limited to supporting wider talent acquisition and HR initiatives.

This role will report to our Director of Talent Acquisition and could be based in either our Sherman Oaks, CA or Seattle, WA office.

During these uncertain times and the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Mythical Games are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely.

Role Expectations

  • Partner across the org to deeply understand the requirements of current, open, and future headcount
  • Drive, manage, and support the recruiting lifecycle: source, assess candidates, manage the interview process, debrief with hiring teams during the selection process.
  • Help your teams clearly define and develop a compelling employee value proposition and incorporate this into your sourcing strategy framework.
  • Excitement to own processes end-to-end and strong ability to manage internal teams' limited time effectively
  • Development of effective candidate sourcing and attraction strategies that build talent pools for immediate and future positions.
  • Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, Github, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques
  • Be an out-of-the-box thinker, creative in the ways in which you identify and optimize a broad range of marketing channels (including relevant digital/social media platforms, campus, organizations, associations, peer groups, diversity partners etc.)
  • Candidate Care (this is a priority for us) - Creating a positive candidate experience is critical and you will be responsible for ensuring this, from initial entry point through to hire (or not).
  • Effectively utilize the ATS to manage applicant flow and candidate tracking to ensure are met and metrics captured.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in full-cycle, fast-paced performing recruiting in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience actively sourcing, and closing passive candidates through innovative sourcing tools, social and job-networking sites.
  • Ability to build trust with candidates of all levels and propensity for understanding the factors and motivations driving their career decisions
  • General understanding of human resources policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws
