We are Mythical Games. A fully funded next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and blockchain. Our goal is to lead the industry with the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage Blockchain Technology, while also providing a platform of robust tools that will allow any other game developer to do the same.
We are looking for a talented and driven Front End Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Mythical’s game platform offerings. This position will be based in our Kansas City office and report directly to our Technical Director.
During these uncertain times and the rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Mythical Games are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and implement customer-focused features on across Mythical Games products
- Support Mythical's frontend effort, setting up frameworks and driving our platform
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers to provide strong customer-focused experiences
- Deploy frequent improvements to make them more performant, reliable, secure, testable and maintainable
- Identify and implement core technologies and remove technical hurdles.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to implement core features across our customers' experiences.
- Write clean, high-quality code and tests while keeping the user experience fast and reliable
Required Experience:
- BS or greater, preferably in a science or engineering discipline
- Experience designing and developing client applications for large, horizontally scalable, high-transaction volume systems
- Experience developing and deploying in a multi-tenant cloud environment (AWS, GDC, Azure)
- Expert in React, Node.js, and Javascript programming languages
- Knowledgeable in Java and/or Go programming languages
- Self-driven: able to innovate, plan, and execute with autonomy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
