Role

We are launching an exciting new product that promises to revolutionise how athletes will control and share their digital football profiles. The new product will help athletes, at all levels of the game, create their own nano-communities, driven by an unparalleled access to their own content and data. As a consequence, we are seeking a driven Head of Community to join our Marketing team and lead the growth of our community, starting with the athletes who play football at all levels of the game.

The individual will be an experienced and inspirational community builder. She or he will be capable of understanding how to empower and activate the men, women, boys and girls (our “athletes”) who play, week-in and week-out, and whose desire to share their stories and their passion, is already mobilising heavily engaged communities on mycujoo.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee a cross-functional community management strategy (focusing on athletes at the core) that engages, empowers and grows our communities
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the needs of our communities and, working cross-functionally, build our capabilities to respond from a product perspective
  • Identify and engage athletes already using mycujoo and build a strategy to attract athletes not yet on mycujoo
  • Build and mentor a team of community managers around the world
  • Support the team in the creation of content plans, measuring impact, identifying influencers and growing activity levels within the community
  • Ensure that the mycujoo brand is represented in accordance with our key values across every interaction with our communities
  • Create a vision for the evolution and growth of communities on mycujoo going deeper into esports, youth football, women's football, recreational football and other sports

Desired Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years community management experience in a social media or digital platform environment
  • Must be organised, strategic, creative and able to clearly articulate how plans will impact organisational goals
  • Must be familiar with web and social media analytics sources such as Google Analytics,
    Facebook Insights and Twitter Analytics
  • Experience managing teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Must be able to build rapport and relate to others at all levels
  • Capable of managing and completing multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of the football and wider sports industry
  • Fluent in ENG and preferably one other European language
