We're looking for an experienced professional to remotely join our Community Team and support the release of our game on the Brazilian market! You will be an essential part of MY.GAMES' external communications by ensuring that our game is properly represented in Portuguese with entertaining, informative, and engaging posts across our social media platforms.

We are looking for someone who is extremely social media savvy, with a desire to stream regularly and come up with new ideas for our platforms. You will be working alongside the Community Lead and several Community Managers based across the world to provide and maintain expert communication standards across official MY.GAMES channels, and monitor social media trends to keep driving our communications to new heights.

It's important to us that you have an interest in video games and expertise in community management.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of our social media channels and discussion platforms with engaging content and comments, moderation, contests, Reddit posts, Steam forums and reviews, etc.
  • Partaking in video activities, especially live streaming, content videos and trailers, influencer streams, Q&As, etc.
  • Coordinate social media and content planning with other departments to support game beats.
  • Creating and maintaining a team of moderators and volunteers to help you cover all platforms.
  • Building and empowering player communities, reaching out, forming good relationships with influencers.
  • Analysing user behaviour and taking measures to correct and adapt or respond to trends.
  • Keeping updated with social media tools, community building trends, and best practices for all supported platforms and potential new ones.
  • Creating, writing, proofreading, formatting and editing materials for our supported platforms (text, art, and video content).
  • Collecting and processing information on bugs, errors and feedback, reporting to stakeholders.
  • Coordinating community projects and monitoring KPIs.
  • Writing feedback reports and reviews on scheduled contests and events.

Requirements:

  • Native Portuguese speaker with an excellent level of English.
  • Diploma in Communication/Marketing (or equivalent) or successful experience in a related field.
  • Facebook Community Manager certification (ASSOCIATE ยท 600-101) or equivalent.
  • Computer able to run MY.GAMES titles, stream and capture video content, with a HD webcam and microphone.
  • Fast and reliable Internet access.
  • Gamer profile with an expert understanding of the industry.
  • Team player with a collaborative personality and a high level of self-organization.
  • Demonstrable expertise with social media platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of brand awareness, social media marketing principles and features.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with short deadlines, and to be fully available and reactive while working.

The cherry on top:

  • Experience working within the gaming industry.
  • Experience with online-based task tracking systems (Atlassian, Smartsheet).
  • Strong familiarity with the gaming industry and online gaming communities.
  • Track record of building and growing internal and external communities.
  • Proficiency with photo and video editing softwares (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.).
  • Proficiency with streaming tools: OBS, Twitch, Facebook Live, etc.
  • Proficiency with Russian language.

Note: This position is remote under a freelance contract.
