Mount Aloysius College invites applications for a part-time Head Coach to develop and lead our new eSports program to begin on or before August 19, 2019. The Head Coach will plan and implement all aspects of an eSports program from selection of games and tournaments, to student recruitment, coaching and devising team strategy. The Head Coach will be an experienced gamer with at least one-year competitive eSports experience involving multi-player, online video games with team-based elements and expert knowledge of League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone, or similar games.

The successful candidate will have a passion for eSports and a vision to create, build and drive growth for a collegiate E-Sports program. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends also required. Periodic travel expected for recruiting and possible tournament play. Experience building teams, recruiting, coaching and/or teaching high school or college students preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required.

Position is part-time, average 20 hours per week.

Mount Aloysius is located in rural Cresson, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Laurel Highlands of west central Pennsylvania, between Johnstown and Altoona. A private, comprehensive, co-educational liberal arts and science-based institution, Mount Aloysius is one of seventeen colleges and universities sponsored by the Religious Sisters of Mercy.
