Current Opening

Mount Aloysius College invites applications for a part-time Head Coach to develop and lead our budding eSports program.

The Head Coach will plan and implement all aspects of an eSports program from selection of games and tournaments, to student recruitment, coaching and devising team strategy. The Head Coach will be an experienced gamer with at least one year of competitive eSports experience involving multi-player, online video games with team-based elements and expert knowledge of League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone, or similar games.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a passion for eSports and a vision to create, build and drive growth for a collegiate E-Sports program. Ability to work a flexible schedule, and have a regular presence on campus required. Periodic travel expected for recruiting and possible tournament play. Experience building teams, recruiting, coaching and/or teaching high school or college students preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required. Position is expected to average 25 hours per week during the fall/spring semesters with year round commitment for recruiting. Evening & weekend hours necessary.
