Motive is seeking an Technical Director to join its central technology team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of programmers and technical experts that works in collaboration with Motive game teams and the Frostbite team to create and improve engine functionalities and game development workflows.
  • Put in place collaboration processes and workflows which help drive priorities and roadmap for the technology team, in partnership with game team leaderships.
  • Define development processes and best practices for requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing.
  • Establish guidelines in terms of stability, performance and memory usage.
  • Work with team members on performance reviews, mentorship, and regular feedback.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a comparable role, working with a AAA game engine
  • Advanced knowledge of C++ and C#
  • Contributions to advanced software, through high-quality shipped game titles
  • Experience optimizing and debugging complex multi-threaded systems
  • Experience managing other programmers
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Passion for making and playing innovative AAA games
