Marketing Communications Manager (Esports Latin America)(QDVL)

As a Marketing Communications Manager, MLBB Esports - Latin America, you will lead projects that harness Moonton esports efforts to engage players across Latin America, steered by a deep understanding and appreciation of the regions mobile gaming space.

Develop and oversee marketing campaigns to promote Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues (MPL), Semi-professional (Copa Nacional) Regional (Liga Latin America) and other Esports marketing in Latin America (M4, etc). The position is remote and can be based anywhere in Latin America. As part of the Latin America Esports team, you’ll join an internationally and culturally diverse team of professionals based in Southeast Asia, Latin America and China.

This position reports to the Esports Lead for Latin America. The team oversees the Latam region, focusing on core markets such as Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil. You'll be working closely with professional esports organizations, local talent, as well as Moonton League and Game Operations Teams, Player and League Ops as well as Production and Logistics and Game Publishing and Marketing teams on the best way to promote and market mlbb esports tournaments to serve the needs of Latam users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own and execute key Marcomm campaign strategies with regional and in-market teams, publishing partner teams, and third‐party agencies/vendors to deliver value and excitement to players
  • Ensure that locally developed Marcomm assets are of the highest standard and representative of Moonton Esports IP and brand
  • Establish and use KPIs to measure and consistently help to improve marketing performance
  • Comfortable with data analysis and compilation of weekly reports outlinining progress, opportunities, challenges and tracking for marketing objectives
  • Remain abreast of community sentiment and social platform developments, to better inform our content strategy to engage players in the MOBA space
  • Become an expert on Latin America MOBA game audiences, serving as a nexus of esports knowledge and communications within this game category
  • Lead the creation social media strategies of Latin America mlbb esports
  • Social media account management on various platforms (IG, FB, Youtube Channel, Twitter, Tik Tok), including budget planning, designing, implementing, managing promotions and content, and also managing Agencies and Community Managers
  • Increasing the company’s presence on existing and new social media platforms
  • Developing content topics that appeal to community and users
  • Creating, managing, and distributing content via videos, images, social media messaging, social media and channels
  • Following conversations among users and contributing to the conversation
  • Working closely with Game Marketing teams, and Broadcast and Production and Game Operations to promote brand consistency in all areas and achieve key results

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum experience 4-5 years of marketing experience, creating marketing strategies, developing marketing campaigns, budget management
  • Excellent communication in English, both verbally and writing
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred, Portuguese is a plus, but not desired
  • Passionate in game industry and game product
  • Thrive in constant change and comfortable in a start-up environment
  • Comfortable in a diverse, international environment
  • Strives under pressure, adaptive/flexible and has the ability to seize opportunities for creative purposes and storytelling
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, and handle multiple functions simultaneously and communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and writing
  • A high level of maturity, tact, and transparency
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse of clientele
  • Must be detail-oriented, passionate and have a strong willingness to learn
