Primary Functions

Monomi Park is looking for a seasoned Community Development Manager who will serve as not only a dedicated voice for the studio, but an advocate for the players that is constantly looking to grow and build the trust of the Slime Rancher community. You are a player-centric professional that understands how communication, content, social media, and influencer relationships all intersect with each other and craft a community strategy that brings them all together. You are a strategist and a project manager setting measurable objectives and driving tactical executions across Monomi Park’s digital channels.


  • Develop and execute community plans across our social platforms and content calendars that drive the Slime Rancher brand strategy and Monomi Park’s business objectives.

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert and player-facing communications, including active engagement on community channels and developing reactive messaging as needed.

  • Build, maintain, and grow mutually beneficial long-term relationships with our community and content creators.

  • Establish player feedback loops with dev teams and internal stakeholders to provide meaningful reporting on community sentiment.

  • Create compelling product communications as well as newsletters, patch notes, and more

  • Manage our external community team (including moderators) as they execute real-time 1:1 community interaction on behalf of the brand and the studio, and lead communications for evergreen & reactive brand engagement

  • Find new community outreach opportunities that align with Monomi Park’s brand and products.

  • Track and analyze community and content KPIs, share performance insights and engagement goals monthly with key stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to craft fun and unique community experiences for our games.

  • Stay up to date on trends, audience tools and relevant industry developments.

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to establish processes, priorities, recommend tools, and best practices

  • Support other marketing initiatives as needed.


  • 5+ years of experience managing social media marketing, community management, or digital marketing.

  • Strong digital marketing background with a proven track record of curating creative and engaging content and building communities.

  • Focus on strategy driven objectives and KPIs.

  • Strong knowledge & application of social media & digital marketing tools such as but not limited to Discord,Twitch, Reddit, Steam, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with different deliverables and deadlines.

  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
