Monomi Park is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to help develop and manage our communication strategy for players, press and partners. This role covers a broad spectrum of Monomi Park's public identity that includes social media, marketing, brand, and PR.

As Communications Manager, you will work with management and development teams to create marketing strategies for projects in various stages of development and to craft press and player-facing communications and messaging. You will engage with our community on forums and social channels to run events and contests and support the creation of community content. You will be our community-facing voice: an advocate for our players and evangelist of our games.

The ideal candidate is someone who is a content creator themselves, loves games and is active on social media.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage our marketing and player messaging strategy across products; draft communication plans for releases, events and other announcements.
  • Manage community channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Forums, Newsletters) and ensure that we understand our players and that our messaging efforts are working successfully.
  • Oversee community events, contests, influencer partnerships and other featuring of our games in the community and in the media.
  • Work closely with artists to create assets for marketing campaigns, store fronts and merchandise.
  • Work with merchandising partners to create exciting products for our players.
  • Create and send press releases and assist with managing relations with all of our media outlets.
  • Engage with our partners across the industry to drive engagement with our products.

Qualifications:

  • Passionate for games with a strong social media presence.
  • Graphic design, photoshop and video editing experience.
  • Possesses exemplary communication and copywriting skills, high emotional intelligence, and excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks with limited direction and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a community management, public relations, customer support, or related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of current community and content distribution channels.
