As Digital Marketing Executive, you will lead efforts that create the foundation and discipline for a growing business.
The key components of the role include the following:
- Optimising spend
- Creating the right digital ecosystem within the gaming industry
- Defining how and where channels play
- Optimising the end-to-end campaign strategy and tactics for online user acquisition and conversion.
- Fluent English speaker
The successful candidate must be strategic, customer centric and able to develop outstanding campaigns to scale our user acquisition operation.
Moreover, the candidate needs to be data driven, take initiative and have a well-rounded digital background including thorough understanding of online channels to acquire users, retain them and drive brand awareness. You will also most likely come from a background in the video game and/or esports industries however it is not essential.
Along with an aligned skill set, the successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and be able to self-manage. We are an international company with a mostly remote team so it is preferable that you have previous experience working remotely.
Great communication skills, a positive attitude and an ability to cultivate relationships with your peers across countries and time zones are a must have.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and roll out global multi-channel campaigns that drive user acquisition
- Own the strategy for paid campaigns and work with the team and agencies to optimize the channel mix in multiple markets to ensure cost-efficient scaling
- Plan and execute partner campaigns and liaise with external parties as agencies and business partners
- Drive the targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns
- Organise production of campaign creatives and campaign scheduling with external agencies
- Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on paid search and paid social campaign performance
- Provide performance updates and reporting to internal stakeholders
- Liaise with our internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing and user acquisition.
- Bachelor Degree in economics, business, marketing and/or relevant field of study is a plus.
- Proven experience working with digital marketing channels and industry tools as analytics packages including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
- Advanced oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
Pre-Requisites
- Proven experience in building test and learn plans that continuously improve acquisition performance
- Ability to dive into the technical channel requirements for efficient campaign execution (Experience with Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Hubspot are preferred)
- Perform in-depth analysis of campaign data to identify opportunities for optimisation and to continuously improve conversion and ROI
- Passion to continually learn and expand hands-on skills and a data-driven mindset with focus on real-time performance optimisation
