As Assistant Manager of Global Operations on Mogul Arena you are responsible for executing daily tasks to ensure tournaments are run efficiently while communicating any website bugs and platform issues through the proper channels.
Our ideal candidate most likely comes from a background in the video game and/or esports industries with a good knowledge of tournament formats and current esports standards.
Along with an aligned skill set, the successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and be able to self-manage. We are an international company with a mostly remote team so it is preferable that you have previous experience working remotely.
Great communication skills, a positive attitude and an ability to cultivate relationships with your peers across countries and time zones are a must have.
Job Responsibilities
- Directly work with and report to the Global Operations Manager on a daily basis;
- Have an in-depth understanding of the Mogul Arena tournament platform;
- Assist in tournament event conception, planning and execution;
- Provide tournament administration services when necessary;
- Liaison with tournament organizers to ensure all needs are satisfied;
- Monitor customer support tools and communicate any issues;
- Contribute to help center documentation;
- Work with your reporting manager to distribute digital and physical prizing.
Prerequisites
- 3+ years of experience in the video game and/or esports industries;
- Good understanding of tournament formats and current esports standards;
- Work well in group environments, remain highly organized;
- Strong communication skills;
- Able to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and provide articulate solutions.
Special Considerations
- Avid video gamer with a passion for esports;
- Have knowledge of the top esports titles such as CS:GO, Dota 2, LoL, etc;
- Ability to identify trends in the industry and pinpoint games with potential in esports;
- Be an awesome person that is fun to work with.
