The ideal candidate has experience navigating complex problems and working with a multitude of stakeholders and competing priorities to deliver innovative growth strategies, and the ability to reach audiences with customized, relevant, and compelling marketing.

Reporting to the COO, the Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the Growth team to deliver profitable user growth at scale. In this capacity, the Director of Marketing is instrumental in driving user growth across all marketing channels and touch points (UA, PR, ASO, social, influencers, partnerships) and sharing of best practices as well as raising the strategic and creative bar at Mistplay.

This role is also about identifying and helping teams identify the tactical actions that will have immediate impact on downloads as much as it is about putting in place the foundational actions and strategy that will keep the Mistplay app relevant in the future.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build, manage and guide a multidisciplinary Growth team
  • Work closely with various stakeholder to help them reach their objectives (c-level, sales, product, etc.)
  • Proactively and continuously research market trends, competitive advantages, product and brand positioning to identify exposure opportunities
  • Develop the communication timeline, milestones, KPIs, and budgets
  • Develop growth strategies and tactics (campaigns, events, etc.) to build brand awareness and loyalty
  • Generate performance reports for management. Create and present review and action plans to drive user growth based on analytical insights
  • Keep Mistplay in the industry forefront with various and ongoing promotional campaigns
  • Partner with our Data and Community teams to gather player insights & understand and address the targeted demographics
  • Provide constructive feedback and participate in campaign brainstorming

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields
  • +5 years of experience in a managerial marketing position
  • Strong and passionate creative abilities
  • Strong understanding of the main pillars of marketing and the mobile gaming space
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Familiarity with advertising and social media ecosystems
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • A driven leader who enjoys building from the ground up
  • Ability to aid in recruitment efforts and critique portfolios
